Charlie Green, 59 of Georgia Mountain passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at his residence. Charlie was born January 10, 1965, in Marshall County, the son of Carl Green and Bernice Humphris Green. Before he became disabled, he operated a small engine repair shop.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Anne Marsh Green; son: Charlie Dewayne Green; mother-in-law: Arlene Moon; brothers: Bill Green, Carl Green, Jr., Glenn Green and David Green; sisters: Lois Nixon, Bonnie Southerland and Mary Lou Filmore; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and his fur babies: Little Bit, Precious, Sam, Skylar, Saban, Caleb and others. He was preceded by his parents: Carl and Bernice Green, siblings: Donald Green, Jim Green, Robert Green, Danny Green, Betty Daniel and Joyce Daugette.
The family is honoring his request with no formal service. He will be laid to rest at the Brocks Chapel Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
