Charley Rieben Powers, age 81 of Winchester, passed away on May 13, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. He was born in Decherd on November 29, 1942, to the late Jessie Lee Powers and Laura Magdalene Rieben. Charley worked as a commercial construction supervisor. He loved woodworking, working with his hands, and watching John Wayne in his many Western Films. He was a member of the Decherd Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jessie Lee Powers; and brother, Billy Brayden Powers. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Deborah Powers; children, Michael (Vicki) Powers, Tom (Carol) Powers, Jim (Shelly) Powers, Angela Powers, Chad Powers; stepchildren, Tonika (Jorge) Galban, Jeff (Lesley) Warta; twenty-five grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Dean (Melissa) Powers; sister, Ann Laura Bennett; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 11am-12pm at Decherd Methodist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 12pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
