Charleston “Charley” Jane Hardman
December 28, 2024 – December 28, 2024
It is with very heavy hearts, we announce both the birth and passing of our sweet baby girl,
Charleston Jane, who was born sleeping on December 28, 2024. We are so in love with this perfect,
precious baby girl. Though she never took a breath in this world, we find peace knowing she was
born into the open arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Even in the pain, we are thankful for the
blessing of being able to see and hold her, though our time was brief. Charley has forever changed
our lives, and our love for her will remain eternal. She brought immense joy and love to our hearts
and will forever be a precious part of our family.
Charley is deeply cherished by her Mommy and Daddy, Sara Beth (Cruse) and John Russell
Hardman, and her sister Olivia Katherine. She also leaves behind grandparents who love her
dearly, Jim and Christi Littlejohn, Jimmy and Linda Cruse, John and Linda Hardman, and Lisa Dixon,
great-grandparents, Martha Hardman, Alice Cruse and Frank and Dianne Littlejohn along with a
host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.
We find comfort in knowing that our sweet Charley is surrounded by love and embraced by angels.
She has an eternal home in Heaven with grandparents who have gone before her. We are forever
grateful for the gift of her brief but beautiful presence in our lives.
A memorial service will be held to honor Charley Jane on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 1pm.
Visitation will begin at noon. All services will be at West Heights Baptist Church in Pontotoc, MS.
Charley will be laid to rest beside her great-grandparents and namesake at Jernigan Cemetery in
Pontotoc, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Charley’s memory be made to Mamie’s Poppy
Plates to help support families who experience loss.
May you rest peacefully, our precious Charley. You will forever remain in our hearts.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
