Mr. Charles William Siler, age 65 of Bethel Springs, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Services will be Saturday, May 9, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar, with Robert Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Chester County.
Charles was born May 20, 1949 to the late Raymond V. Siler, Sr., and Verlor Mae Ivy Siler. Charles lived in Silerton until 2000 when he moved to Bethel Springs. He was a member of the Silerton Baptist Church. He enjoyed wild life, and he loved calling turkeys.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Hatch, a special brother-in-law, James Hatch, and special nephews Ray Hatch; a half brother Odell Siler of Buena Park, CA; a sister-in-law, Wendy Siler; a niece, Amanda Wellons (Ian) of Bolivar; a nephew, Chis Siler (Angela) of Henderson; and six great nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Eva, Abigail, Elizabeth, and Samantha Siler, and Katelyn Wellons.
Mr. Siler is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Raymond V. Siler, Jr.; his infant sister, his two half-brothers and three-half sisters.
