Charles William Coleman – Obituary

Charles William Coleman was born January 13, 1939 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Neil and Mary Weatherly Coleman. He was united in marriage to Linda Randolph on December 14, 1996. Charles retired from PCA in Pickwick as a Pipe Fitter and in fire protection for 38 years. He was a member of the Stantonville Church of Christ in Stantonville, Tennessee and the American Legion post 162. He served our country proudly in the US Army for four years. Charles loved his flag and country, mowing the lawn, riding his golf cart with his dog Blackie, participating in military funerals with the American Legion and spending time with his family.

Mr. Coleman departed this life on June 24, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, 11 Days.

He is survived by his wife Linda Randolph Coleman of Selmer, TN; a son, Terrell Coleman and wife Nancy of Selmer, TN; two stepdaughters, Sheryl Tucker Campbell and husband Tim of Michie, TN and Summer Kay Howell and husband Scott of Jackson, TN; a sister, Ruth Coleman of Selmer, TN; six grandchildren: Laura Beth Coleman Forsyth and husband Adrian, River Campbell White and husband Zach, Tucker Campbell, Aysia Campbell, Mallory Howell and Matthew Howell; and a host other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Bodiford and Dot Coleman.
