Charles Wesson, age 75, of Sulligent, AL passed away at his residence Thursday, December 17, 2020. Private family services will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. Mitch Nethery and Bro. Jeff to officiate. Visitation will be held from the Otts Funeral Home Parlor Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at First State Bank to the account of Charles Wesson Memorial. All proceeds will be donated to the Sulligent High School Band. Donations can also be mailed to P.O. Box 596 Sulligent, AL 35586.
Charles was born March 22, 1945 to the late Frank Wesson and the late Eva Hollingsworth Wesson. He attended Fayette County High School. He attended the University of Alabama and later pursued a Master of Arts at University of North Alabama in 1974. He was a part of the American Coon Hunters Association, owned, and operated Computer Associations in Fayette.
