Charles Thomas “Bud” McDonald, 88 of Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Bud was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid Crimson Tide fan and was George Jones’ number one fan.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, William Abner McDonald and Alice Vaughn McDonald and brothers, J.D., Doug, Will, and Bobby.
Bud is survived by his son, Charles L. McDonald (Patty); brother, Billy McDonald; sister, Betty Underwood; grandchildren, Jenny Tolbert (Joe), Angela Puckett (Tim); great-grandchildren, Johnny Tolbert, Joshua Tolbert, Alexis Puckett; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
