Funeral Service for Charles Tedford Angel, 88, of Florence, Alabama, will be 2PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Greenview Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 12 – 2 PM prior to the service. Garry Lovette will officiate the service. The interment will follow in the Love Mausoleum.

Mr. Angel was born September 3, 1936 to Cornelius and Ethel Louise Atkinson Angel. He passed from this life on December 14, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local No. 477 and an active member at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Ethel Louise Angel; brothers, Cecil Angel and Donnie Angel.
Mr. Angel is survived by his wife of 49 years, Georgia Elaine Lackey Angel; daughter, Pamela Gibson (Carlton); sister, Bobbie Willard (Pinkie); grandchildren, Jennifer Allen (Blake); great grandchildren, Lily Allen and Holly Allen.
Pallbearers will be Carlton Gibson, Blake Allen and Dale Allen.
The family extends a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Gentiva Hospice and to Dr. Robert Mann.
