Charles “Steve” Northcutt, age 73 of Pelham, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday, December 30,2022. He was born on January 19, 1949 in Pelham to the late Charles and Helen Northcutt. Steve retired from United Technologies, formerly Carrier after 37 years of service. He loved spending time with his family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting on the porch of Northcutt’s Family Market talking politics with the “old timers”. He was as avid deer and turkey hunter. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Sherion J. Northcutt; sons, Eric (Cindy) Northcutt, Chris (Patricia) Northcutt; five grandchildren, Chase Northcutt, Robert Northcutt, Ethan Northcutt, Summer Northcutt, and Karissa (Greg) Knost; one great granddaughter, Raylynn Knost; sisters, Joyce Walker and Connie (Billy) Meeks; brothers, Jimmy Northcutt and Bobby Northcutt. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11am at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Paynes Cove Cemetery.
