SSG Charles Sharp (RET), aged 92 of Albertville, passed away Thursday July 21, at Albertville Nursing Home. Mr. Sharp was a Retired US Army Staff Sergeant, and served his country for more than 20 years. His service included tours of duty in Indonesia, Korea, and Vietnam. He retired from Active Duty in August of 1973 where he spent his days with his family and later worked as a Security Guard. Charles is survived by his wonderful wife Linda Sharp, his two daughters and his step-sons Steven Lancaster (Emily) and Jason Lancaster, grandchildren Keith Sharp, Kevin Sharp, Michael Sharp, Dustin Lancaster, and Brianna Lancaster. Charles was preceded in death by: his Parents, Sons: Johnny Sharp, Rick Sharp, Step-Son Mike Lancaster, Six Sisters, and Four Brothers
Services will be held Saturday July 23, 2022 at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home in Albertville.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Chapel of Adams Brown Service, with services following at 11:00am
Burial will take place at White Oak cemetery in Albertville
