Charles “Ryan” Burroughs, 31, of Harvest, AL, passed away Sunday, May 20th, 2018. Ryan was born December 8th, 1986 in Huntsville, AL. He is survived by his wife Kaitlyn “Katie” Marie Smith Burroughs, who he happily married on October 6, 2012, and their daughter, Stella Grace Burroughs born March 26, 2015; his father, Ellis Edward “Eddie” Burroughs Jr., and wife Lorraine; mother, Karen Lawson and husband, Marty; brother, Josh Burroughs and wife, Lindsay, and their son, Liam; in-laws, Keith and Johnnie Smith; sister-in-law, Christie Smith; along with a multitude of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryan was predeceased by his grandparents: Charles and Judy Lowe, Ellis Burroughs, Sr. and his beloved dog Duke.

Everyone who knew Ryan can attest to a hardworking, soft-hearted, smart, gifted do-it-yourselfer, humorous, fun loving, always smiling, kind man.  He embraced his role as husband, father, and protector as his primary mission in life.  He was the very best son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson, brother-in-law, co-worker and friend anyone could ever.  He was skilled at almost everything he attempted and took great pride in his work.  His desire to please everyone made him one of a kind.  He loved to spend time on the water, fishing or just chilling, fixing things, golfing, Auburn football “War Eagle”, but his greatest joy was spoiling and spending time with his wonderful little girl Stella. He is a born again Christian and child of God. He is now in the arms of the Father.

Ryan graduated from Bob Jones High School in 2005 and remained a lifelong resident in the greater Madison- Huntsville, AL area. Ryan is loved by all who knew him, his infectious smile and wonderful laugh touched so many lives.  Any friend of Ryan’s always knew they were something more than just friends, they were forever part of each other’s lives.  Ryan would “always be there”.  Ryan leaves a permanent void that only God can fill.  We celebrate his life and take great comfort knowing he is in eternal peace and has been welcomed into heaven where we shall see him again.

“…and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away”.  Revelations 21:4
