Charles Rufus Parks, 84, of Huntsville passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was born and raised in Lincoln County, TN and worked for over 30 years in the textile industry. Rufus was an avid fisherman, hunter and sports enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by wives, Peggy Watkins Parks and Dorothy Taylor Jenkins Parks; son, Charles W. Parks; granddaughter, Sarah Parks and great-grandson, Augustus Matthew.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Parks (Jennifer) and Brian Parks (Mary) and grandchildren, Alivya Mahoney, Tre Mahoney, Holden Mahoney, Ashley Matthew, Sophia Parks, and Savannah Parks.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. Pastor Greg Standridge officiating.
