Charles Robert Stubblefield, 92, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Mr. Charles loved buying and selling antiques, attending Pontotoc Lady Warrior Basketball games, people watching at Wal-Mart, and going to the Salvation Army. He was a Korean War Veteran serving with the United States Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Rutherford (Cody), Ripley, MS; two sons, Dyrl Stubblefield (Simone), Georgia and Earl Stubblefield, Pontotoc, MS; five grandchildren, Kaylee Rutherford, Geana Dennis (Gerome), Phil Stubblefield, Hunter Stubblefield, and Daniel Stubblefield; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Mullins, M.B. Stubblefield, and Devon Stubblefield.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Knox and Annie Laverta Stubblefield; his son, James Jason Stubblefield; three sisters, Betty Mills, Mary Ruth Stubblefield, and Mildred Gardner; and two brothers, John Stubblefield and J.D. Stubblefield.
Memorial Service will be held at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 3PM with visitation beginning at 1PM. Bro. C.W. Franks officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Ripley, MS.
