Charles Raymond Meeks, 82, of Hazel Green, passed away Friday, January 29.
He retired from Huntsville Hospital after 42 years of service.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Linda Meeks; children, Cindy Hyatt (Steve), Bruce Meeks (Tina), and Angie Kilgore (Mark); five grandchildren, Josh, Summer, Jessica, Bubba, and Taylor; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Juanita Lightsey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Bertie Meeks; sisters, Lucille Kruszewski and Margaret Balch; and brother, Edward Meeks.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 2 at 11 a.m. with Brother Patrick Price, Tim Gaines, and Reverend Bobby Culver officiating. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
