Charles Ray “Chuck” Best, age 72 of Bolivar, passed away on April 7, 2022 at his home.
Chuck was born on June 30, 1949 in Taft, CA to the late Clarence and Opal Best. He was a truck driver all of his working career. He and his wife also attend Bolivar First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Kay Hardester; and two brothers, Benjamin Best and Melvin Best.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 31 years, Shirley Best; six children, Lisa Storer, Michael Storer (Marla), Naomi Hernandez, Nikkey Schrader-Cole (Michael), Lexi Best-Green (Bryan), and Alexandria Best; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his step mother, Pauline Best; brother, Bill Best (Barbara) and sister, Mary Reyes (Francisco); and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church Bolivar, 826 W. Market St., Bolivar. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. officiated by Bro. Kyle Rhea. Interment will follow in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery
