Charles Oather Frost, 90 of Nauvoo, Alabama passed away on March 2, 2024. Charles was a dedicated member of Nauvoo Church of God. He was a member of UMWA and retired from Bankhead Mining Company. He was an avid gardener and farmer.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens.
He was born on January 21, 1934. He was preceded in death by his Parents-Dave and Paralee Frost; Wife-Mirtie Bell Frost; Son-Charles Allen Frost (Cluck).
He is survived by his Children-Charlotte Phillips (Jeff) and Jeff Frost (Tracy); Grandchildren-Brandon Phillips (Tara), Patrick Phillips (Paige), Haley Frost, Jared Frost (Tiffany), Christopher Frost and Bethany Dodd; Great Grandchildren-Jax, Gunter, Cooper, Keylee and Bella; Brothers-Clarence Frost (Paula) and Cullen Frost; Sisters-Pauline, Geraldine, Jane and Kathy; a host of nieces and nephews.
