Charles Nathan Putman, 83 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his residence. He was born on January 13, 1939, in Madison, Alabama to Paul Graham Putman and Clara Lee Bailey Putman.
Mr. Putman is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Smith Putman; daughter Jarita Saylor (Danny); daughter-in-law Karen Putman; grandchildren Nathan Putman (Ellie), Cassie Micucci (Tito), Kelly Hilliard (Nate), and Adam Saylor (Sarah); great grandsons Marshall, Charlie, Simon, and August; and brother Lewis Putman (Polly).
He is proceeded in death by his parents and his son Ty Putman.
A funeral service will be held for Mr. Putman on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Keith Hovis officiating. A visitation will be held at the conclusion of the service for the family to enjoy time with friends. Interment will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
