Charles M. Perkins, 70, of Florence, passed away December 20, 2012 at ECM Hospital after a brief illness. Charles loved fishing, bird hunting, Nascar and most of all his family. His smile and infectious laughter will forever be missed.
A graveside service will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens with Brother Wendell White officiating.
Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by his parents, James “Trigger” and Estelle Holliman Perkins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Carolyn Jane Perkins; sons, Chuck, Scott, and Chris Perkins all of whom he was immensely proud of; brothers, James Perkins (Mildred), Billy Ray Perkins (Myra); sisters, Sarah Irons (Bobby), Joyce Franklin all of Florence.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Waterloo High School.
