Chuck was born July 31, 1951, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Charles L. Sr. and Mary Blanche Shull Patrick. He was a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and practiced in Tennessee and Alabama for 42 years. During his career Chuck was a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Angus Association, and Holstein Association of America. He was highly active in the ARP Church serving as Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and Elder over the years as well as Congregational Chairman for 40 years. If he was not making a farm call, at church, or with his family, he was at a ballgame. Chuck loved sports, watching, coaching and playing. He was a church league softball legend in his time, known to play in his coveralls and boots if needed. Chuck also cherished his time with his children and grandchildren. He spent many hours watching ballgames and activities, and to his grands he was “Grandad.” There is no doubt that Chuck loved the Lord, his family, and cows. He passed away July 8, 2023, at his home.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia “Patty” Harris Patrick; children, Chad Patrick, Walt (Jennie) Patrick, Ben Patrick, Bea (John) Marsh; grandchildren, Chase, Alivia, and Sam Patrick, Wyatt, Tensie, John Colyar, and Imolee Patrick, Mary Ruth and Evie Marsh and baby sister due soon; siblings, Guy (Belinda) Patrick, Ruth (Eddie) Sims; several nieces, nephews and extended family members as well as many faithful friends.
