Mr. Charles Lindsey Frost of Bolivar, Tennessee departed this life Tuesday night, August 12, 2014 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 1 day.
Mr. Frost was born in Memphis, Tennessee January 11, 1959 to the late Dr. Charles L. Frost and the late Mary Frances Irwin. He lived all his life in Bolivar, and graduated with the Class of 1977 from Bolivar Central High School.
He served his country in various branches of the military including the United States Marines, from which he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant, the Marine Reserves, and the National Guard. He served with the Bolivar Police Department as a Captain for 32 years.
On June 9, 1990, he was united in marriage to the former Cynthia Holland, who survives. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar, and in his spare time, he was an avid motocross racer and golfer. Among all of his accomplishments, he was a very loving father.
In addition to his wife of 24 years, survivors include his children, Brittany Frost Collins of Jackson, and Braxdon Frost of Bolivar; sister, Charlotte Ann Frost of Bolivar; brothers, Loren Bonds Frost of Franklin, and Brian Frost and wife Laurie of Atlanta; stepmother, Leatha Doles Frost of Bolivar; and grandchildren, Whitley Collins and Madelyn Collins.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents as well as an infant sister, Allie Evelyn Frost.
