Charles Lewis Simpson of Lebanon, Tennessee peacefully passed away at home at the age of 92 on Nov. 23. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lewis Simpson and Mary Bell Simpson.
A graduate of Lebanon High School, Charles served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and returned home to begin studies at Middle Tennessee State University.
A man of indomitable goodwill, Charles is survived by his loving wife Mary Louise Simpson; daughters Terri Simpson (Nashville) and Toni (Steve) Paladino of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren Sydney (Reed) Davis and Alex Paladino; beloved sisters Linda Simpson Hurst and Debbie (Mike) Bush along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the dedicated professionals at Gentiva Hospice for their care and support for Charles. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
