LemCharles Lemuel “Lem” Turner, age 66, Russellville, AL (formerly of Canton, GA), passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, GA from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016. A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016 at The Orange United Methodist Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Andrews and Deacon Phil Collett will be officiating.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Judy Rouse Vaughan Turner; children, Audrey Turner, Michael Turner (wife, Marie), James Turner, Steve Turner (wife, Heather); step-children, Jennifer Matthews, Joey “Goob Vaughan; grandchildren, Turner & Grayson Griffin, Mason, Emma, Charlee, Christian, Carson, Jessica, Brady, Sybel, Jake, and Lindsey Turner; step-grandchildren, Alyssa Anderson, Aiden Matthews, Shawn Vaughan; mother, Ocilla Turner; brother, Dwight Turner; sister, Rita Turner Lamb; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dwight Turner; and step-son, Michael Vaughan.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family with local arrangements.
