Graveside services for Mr. Charles L. Tignor, age 87, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Judson Cemetery with Bro. Terry Rhodes officiating. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Tignor passed away early Thursday in Jackson. He was born May 25, 1927 in Henderson County to the late Edward and Gracie Jones Tignor. He was a retired carpenter for Williams Construction and a WWII U. S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Carol Rhodes Tignor; two sons, Ricky “Possum” Sims and Lynn Tignor; one grandson, Shannon Johnson; and one sister, Marie Stockton. Survivors include his two sons, Donald (Melinda) Tignor of Huron and Barry (Tina) Sims of Dickson; three daughters, Donna (Jeff) Lessenberry of Huron; Jenny (Kendall) Martindale of Decaturville; and Cindy Morgan of Parsons; one sister, Linda Snipes of Juno; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
