Charles Kenneth McPeak Charles Kenneth McPeak, 82, resident of Cross Bridges, Tennessee, died Friday November 15, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 5:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rock Jaggers and Randy Baxter officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Born April 23, 1937 in Springfield, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ned McPeak, Sr. and the late Jennie Mae Sullivan McPeak. On September 11, 1965, he married Elizabeth Jane Whitaker McPeak. Mr. McPeak worked as a maintenance foreman for Middle Tennessee Experiment Station for over 43 years, until retiring in 1992. Mr. McPeak was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Jane Whitaker McPeak; sisters-in-law, Betty McPeak and Roberta McPeak; beloved Chihuahua, Taco; several nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Rickey (Lisa) McPeak.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lena May McPeak and Mary Elizabeth McPeak; brothers, Eugene McPeak, Robert Dayton McPeak, John L. McPeak, Dewitt McPeak, Searcy McPeak, Clyde McPeak, Edward McPeak, and Ned McPeak, Jr.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Mark Breece, Ronnie Reed, Betty Holden, and the nurses and staff of the 3rd floor at Maury Regional Medical Center.
