Charles Harvey Wright, Sr., 88, died on Friday, June 7, 2013. Services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Howell Bigham officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.
Harvey was a native of Sheffield and had lived in the Shoals area for 88 years. He was a member of North Wood Methodist Church and had retired from TVA in 1988. He was an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local 558 for nearly 64 years.
Survivors include one son, Charles H. Wright, Jr., Killen; two daughters, Janet Wright, Florence, and Cathy Anderson, Madison; Mary Jo Boelkens, Killen; one sister, Becky Hearn, Sheffield; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
