Charles Harbison of Logan, AL, passed away peacefully at his home on February 6, 2021 at the age of 72. Charles was preceded in death by his daddy, Chalmer Harbison. Charles is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Ann Tucker Harbison; his daughter, Hollie Nicole (Brandon) Elliott; his son, Patrick Charles (Candace) Harbison; granddaughters, Emma and Lena Elliott; Scarlett, Savannah, Georgia Belle and Magnolia Harbison; his mother, Vera Mae Guthrie Harbison; his sister, Charlene (Dennis) Jordon; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Charles was a loving son, husband, daddy of two, and Pee Paw of six beautiful granddaughters. Charles was a Vietnam Veteran with the US Army where he received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a retired truck driver from ABF Freight in Birmingham, AL. Charles loved to watch Alabama Crimson Tide Football and Basketball along with Atlanta Braves Baseball. Charles never got the grandson that he so much wanted, but he was proud of his granddaughters and loved them that much more. He bragged and told everyone about his “buddies”. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am on February 11, 2021 at Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Logan, AL for family and friends. A viewing at Moss Service Funeral Home for the family preceding the graveside service will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
