Charles Hall, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Waynesboro, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Hall served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Georgia Mae Pennington Hall; one son, Chris Hall; one brother, George Jackson Hall; two angel grandchildren; and three angel great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linnie Hall of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Joy Hazelwood (Teddy) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Becky Garvin (Michael) of Lawrenceburg, TN; nine grandchildren, Chaz Hazelwood (Kayree), Chelsa Hazelwood (Van), Kendra Ammerman (Connor), Karlee Rediker (Charlie), Will Garvin (Brooke), Allie Garvin, Sulley Garvin (Liz), Cutler Garvin, and Cross Garvin; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Jeydon, Ty, Kaleb, Christian, Stihl, Whitley, Walker, Virgil, Gus, Riggs, Riley, Milan, Shiloh, Kova, and Hallie Mae; several nieces and nephews..
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Highland Cemetery at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 17, 2024, with Mickey Brackin and Teddy Hazelwood officiating, with full military honors.
