Funeral services for Mr. Charles Flynn, age 71, are scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, January 27, 2017 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Flynn passed away Tuesday in Nashville. He was born September 28, 1945 in Missouri to the late William “Bill” and Ruth Wiseman Flynn. He was retired from MagneTek, was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Lexington, and enjoyed working on small engines, tinkering, and spending time outside. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Brenda Scott Flynn; one son, Jeremy David Flynn (Alisha); one daughter, Teena Stowe (Billy); two brothers, Johnny Flynn (Geraldine) and Don Flynn; one sister, Betty Clenney (Charles); five grandchildren, Allie Stowe, Timothy New, Samantha Fehland, Carter and Cayden Smith; and a special friend of the family, Glenda Flynn. He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Flynn and three sisters, Dolly Hunthausen, Lola Bowman, and Patsy Frazier.
