Charles F. Burrough, 79, of Huntsville passed away August 30, 2024, surrounded by those he loved most. He was born on November 24, 2024, to Joe Alexander Burrough and Delsie Sims Burrough in Limestone County, AL.

Charlie worked as a truck driver for numerous companies during his career. The men he worked with became lifelong friends and had such a strong bond. He retired from L&L Lumber. Cha-Cha, as he was known by many, could be found cheering on the Alabama Football team on every Saturday they play. He also enjoyed watching car racing. Some of his happiest times were spent at the beach. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Christie Brand; and several siblings.

Survivors include his very best friend, of 34 years, Burnice M. Allen; daughter, Connie Martin; grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Calynn, Cara, Courtney, Brianna, Chloe, and Macy; great grandchildren, Adam, Levi, and Alex; brother, Joe Wendell Burrough; sisters, Becky Burrough, Linda Burrough, and Shelby Burrough; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 3rd at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Dr. Al Pihringer officiating and Larry Landman speaking. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
