Charles Ewin Gibson, age 88, of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday, June 04, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Salant & Salant and M-Fine Mfg., a founding member of Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Fall River United Methodist Church. Mr. Gibson served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Thelma White Gibson; his wife, Lucille Brown Gibson; and one grandson, Pat Gibson.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 06, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 07, 2014, with Niles Worsham officiating. Interment will follow at Fall River Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department.
