Charles Edwin Balentine, 73, of Athens, AL, passed away July 29, 2024.
Charles was a born-again believer, thanks to a wonderful ministry of a group of special men. We would like to thank the late Grant Azbell and all of the other men who participated in that ministry. Charles is truly free at last.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Balentine; and mother, Kathleen Linville.
He is survived by his son, Chris Balentine (Carolyn) of Muscle Shoals; sister, Janice Henry (Ray); grandchildren, Bo Balentine (Callie), Parker Balentine, and Peyton Balentine (Emma); great grandchildren, Louella, Liza, and Andi Balentine; and special life-long friend, Regina Briggs.
