Charles Edward James, 76, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mr. James was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was retired from U.S. Reduction as a furnace operator.
The funeral service will be Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Survivors include wife, Glenda Fay James; children, Thresa James and Jeff James (Angela); brother, Jerry James (Kathy); grandchildren, Erica Strickland (Elton), Brandy Ramsey (Cody) and Joseph James; great-grandchildren, Alex Ramsey, Brooklyn Holdbrooks, Levi Ramsey, Raine Strickland, Corey Strickland and Adam Strickland; great-great grandchild, Sophia Strickland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Otis and Odie Mae Jackson James.
