Charles Edward Hobson, Sr., 77 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Hobson was born on January 7th, 1946, in Parkins, Arkansas, to Charles Thomas Hobson and Nancy Francis Weir Hobson.
Mr. Hobson is survived by his sons Charlie Hobson (Monica) and John Hobson (Nicki); grandsons Justin White, Austin Hobson, and Colton Hobson; great-granddaughter Olivia June Hobson; sisters Carolyn Hargrove, Sue Sides, and Barbara Elrod; and brother Eugene Hobson.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service for Mr. Hobson will be Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, at 11:00am, at Poplar Creek Cemetery, with David Seibert officiating.
