Charles Edgar Staggs was born on February 23, 1953, in Hohenwald, TN, the son of the late Fuller Staggs and Edna Keaton Staggs. Charles was united in marriage on July 1, 2000, to Annie Staggs. He was a man of the Church of Christ Faith. Charles enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening, and cooking. Charles honorably served his country in the United States Army. After his military service Charles worked as a truck driver.
Charles departed this life on November 4, 2023 in at the age of 70 years, 8 months, 12 days.

Charles is survived by son, Logan Leonard Staggs, Heath Johnson, Rance Johnson; daughters, Tina Bell, Jerri Martin, Sandra Pound; brother, Dewayne Staggs; sisters, Martha Perrin, Edith Marlow; host a grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Roy Neill Staggs, Fuller Anthony Staggs; sisters, Wanda Thompson, Kathy Dial, and Joyce Lineberry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN and Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. service time at County Line Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at County Line Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg, TN, with Cary Crews officiating.
Interment will follow at Spann Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
