Funeral Services for Charles Douglas “Doug” Forman, age 55 of Ashland, will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 2:00 P.M. with Deborah Foreman officiating. He will be buried at the Ashland City Cemetery. The Public visitation will begin at 12:30 until service time at 2:00 P.M.
Mr. Forman passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was born in Ashland, AL and was a life-long resident of Clay County, AL. He attended Mellow Valley High School, and was a general maintenance worker by trade. He was an avid Alabama fan. He loved his son, Dustin and his fur baby, Faith. He enjoyed gaming and spending time with all of his family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother, friend, and uncle.
Mr. Forman is survived by his mother, Evelyn Fay Forman of Ashland; his son, Charles Dustin Forman of Montgomery; four sisters: Sherry Browning (Randall) of Talladega, Cathy Smith, Rita East (Jody) and Saddie McVey, all of Ashland; one brother, Danny Forman (Jemima) of Ashland, and his canine companion, Faith. He is further survived by 13 nieces and nephews, and a slew of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Forman was preceded in death by his Father, Charles Denson Forman, and his brother in law, Ryan McVey.
Active Pallbearers will be Brad Browning, Patrick Smith, Schyler Forman, Jamie MCVey, Jesse McVey, Colton East, Jeremy Waldrop, Marty Williams, and Ronald Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandi Browning, Candice Smith, Krystle Forman, Kayla McVey, Jordan East, Eilee Sparks, Logan Watters, and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
