Charles Curtis “Chuck” Chamblee, Jr. passed away on Friday, August 8, 2024 at his residence in Arab, Alabama. Chuck was born July 1, 1961 in Marshall County, Alabama, the son of Charles Curtis Chamblee, Sr. and Jo Ann Nolen Pittman. He and Brenda Pierce Chamblee were married for over 30 years. Chuck worked as a Program Engineer for TYDO, a division of the FBI. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Chuck loved computers and technology. He was tech savy and considered to be a net working genius. He enjoyed car racing and used his computer knowledge to create and develop programs where race drivers could communicate with their team members through radio systems. He was an excellent photographer and often time could be found competing in online SIM auto racing.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Brenda Chamblee; son, Bailey Chamblee; daughter, Holly Chamblee; mother, Jo Ann Pittman; sister, Andrea Kelly (Tracy); and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Chamblee, Sr.
Family, friends and guests will gather at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2024 in order to honor Chuck and the life he shared with us all. Visitation will be between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 with Brother Rick Douglas and Kenny Mullins officiating. Pallbearers escorting Chuck to his final resting place in Arab Memorial Cemetery will be Bailey Chamblee, Terry Pierce, Tracy Kelly, Cameron Pierce, Kyle Hinkle and Tray Salter.
