Charles Cleveland Scott, 73, of Florence, passed away, Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2023, from noon until 2:00 PM at Valley View House of Prayer. The funeral will follow with brother Larry Burbank officiating with burial at Pine Hill cemetery.
Charles was a veteran of the United Stated Army where he served in Germany. He was a member of Valley View House of Prayer and retired truck driver of 32 years. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Pitts Scott; children, Charles Scott Jr. and Stacy Scott (Pynia); stepchildren, Ricky and Roger Pitts; and grandchildren, Chris Burbank, Austin, Emily, and Sarah Scott.
Pallbearers will be, Ricky Pitts, Chris Burbank, Tim Allison, Larry Clemmons Richard Melton, Roger Pitts, and Buford Melton.
