Obituary of Charles C. Sinyard Funeral services for Charles C. Sinyard, age 75 of West Point, are as follows:

Visitation: Friday, December 13, 2024, 4-8 p.m.

Lie in State: Saturday, December 14, 2024 11-12

Funeral to follow at 12 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home

Burial: Crossroads Cemetery in West Point.

Charles C. Sinyard was born on November 9,1949. He passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackson & Audie Sinyard; brothers, Jackson Sinyard Jr, Ellis Sinyard, Freddie Sinyard & his sister, Elaine Calvert.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen Sinyard. 3 cherished children, Jennifer(Adam) Kelley, Julie(Scotty) Cofer & Jason Sinyard. 6 beloved grandchildren; Caycee(Travis) Overton, Chelcee(Jeff) Robertson, Colby(Jennifer) Roberts, Madison(Tanner) Gardner, Andrew(Savannah) Cofer, Joshua Cofer. 11 great-grandchildren, whom he adored; a treasured brother; Gerald Sinyard, and a host of loved nieces and nephews.

Charles was loved & respected by all who knew him. He lived his life always helping others. He was a faithful servant of God, beloved Husband, cherished Father, adored PaPaw, and respected Friend. He was a kind & unselfish man, with an infectious smile & laugh that would light up the room. He was always ready with a poem or song that he came up with on the spot for family and friends over the years. We will cherish those memories of him forever in our hearts.

His love & support extended far past his immediate family. He loved his siblings, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews & cousins wholeheartedly. He developed many lifetime friendships that he cherished during his years of ministry & the grocery business. He proudly served his country for 8 years in the Army National Guard. He dedicated over 56 years to preaching the gospel in Cullman County & surrounding areas.
