Charles Bernard Burton, 78 of Dora, passed away Tuesday February 12, 24 at his residence.
He was a retired truck driver, having driven for 42 years. He was last employed with Holland Truck Lines. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, LaDonna Kim Burton; parents, Clara Bell and Francis Ezra Burton; brother, Bill Burton and sister, Doris Allred.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sharon Burton; sons, Christopher Burton and Cale Burton and wife Candy; grandchildren, Kayla Burton, Brooke Hogg (Christian), Josh Burton, Emily Burton, Mary Garner Jones and Molly Kate Jones; great-grandchildren, Madilynn, Maddox and Addyson Kate; several other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service and interment will be Friday, Feb. 16, 23 at 2:00 pm in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tyler Keene will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm.
