Charles Alton Poole, 83, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Belmont, MS to John Wallace Poole and Annie Mae Crosbie Poole. He worked as a stone mason for seventy years and was a member of Forrest Grove Baptist Church.

Services will be Sunday, November 24, 1 p.m. at Forrest Grove Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS with Bro. Josh Payne and Bro. Tommy King officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 5-8 p.m. at Forrest Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Poole; children, Tim Poole, Tammy Norton, Rocky Bishop and Shelley Bishop; grandchildren, Randy Poole, Kenneth Cox, Keaton Norton, Regina Barrett and Austin Norton and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, Wallace Poole, Jack Poole, JJ Poole, Kenneth Poole, Ray Poole, Betty Poole, Jenell Taylor, Helen Wanner, Ruthie Mae Holt and Christine Browning.

Pallbearers will be Dexter Rosser, Wayne Enlow, Cole Bishop, Gage Bishop, Justin Adams, Jerry Lee Taylor and Rocky Bishop. Honorary pallbearers will be David Joe Poole and Kenneth Cox.
