Charlene Humphries Adkins, age 79 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Bro. Adam Brewer will officiate.
Mrs. Adkins was preceded in death by her Father-Ed Humphries; Mother-Rena Gosa Humphries; 8 Brothers and Sisters-Maxine Causey, Catherine McCollum, Faye Whittemore, Dimple Bridges, Hubbert Humphries, Hoyle Humphries, Herman Humphries and David Humphries.
She is survived by her Daughter-Melanie Gossett Smith; Grandchildren-Mallorie “Jordan” Smith and Marlee S. Smith; Son-Mark Allen Gossett; Sisters-in-law-Jean Humphries and Becky Hudson.
