Charlene Bragwell Boyd, age 98, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, June 01, 2024, at Arabella Health & Rehab.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and a devout Christian lady. She loved to quilt, crotchet, and work in her flowers. She was known for and will be remembered for making the absolute best fried apple pies and the best beef roast. There are so many wonderful memories that the family will treasure, from dinners at her house to the way she loved us all. She had a special saying for when any of us would leave, it was always “I Love You too hun.” Although no one is perfect, to our family she was perfect to us.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hazel Boyd; daughter, Johnnie Sue Kinard (Marshall); parents, VC & Minnie Bragwell, twin sister, Maxine Thorn (Luther); brothers, Ed Bragwell (Ann), Carl Bragwell (Grace); grandson, Tommy Kinard; and daughter-in-law, Dianne Boyd.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons Milton Boyd, Roger Boyd (Debbie); grandchildren, Paul Kinard (Daphanie), Maye Kinard, Heath Boyd (Heather), Jennifer Whitfield (Chad), Cade Boyd (Brandi), Drew Boyd (Candace); great-grandchildren, Alisha Miller (Mike), Jesse Fretwell, Constance Gardner, Joseph Fretwell (Erin), Layne Edwards (Frank), Audrey Boyd, Abby Boyd, Emma Whitfield, Jenna Whitfield, Wylie Boyd, Ashton Boyd, Karlie Moore, Kara Moore, Austin Boyd, Ayden Boyd, Maci Boyd; great-great-grandchildren, Dalton, Conner, Olivia, Emmalyn, Samantha, Willow, and Gresham; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 05, 2024, at Franklin Memory Gardens. Bro. Gerald Ricketts will speak at the service. The pallbearers will be grandsons and family members
