FLORENCE – Things got a lot worse for the man who is accused of murdering Brioni Rutland. Lauderdale County District Attorney Chris Connoly’s Office announced this afternoon that Jeremy Leshun Williams will face capital murder charges.
Here is what the Florence Police Department had to say in it’s media report:
“Charges in High School Coach’s Murder Upgraded to Capital; Florence Police Detectives and Lauderdale County District Attorney Officials have upgraded the charges filed against Jeremy Leshun Williams, 29, of Florence. Williams was arrested on November 30, 2013 and charged in connection with the murder of Brioni Rutland, a volunteer coach at Deshler High School in Tuscumbia.
