Funeral service for Chadwick Russell Keith, 33, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Garry Burns officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Keith, who died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at his residence in Jacksonville, was born March 12, 1980, in Decatur to Leon Russell Keith and Tiya Sadonna Morgan Keith. He was a graduate of Austin High School and served his community as a nationally registered paramedic, firefighter, and rescue squad member. Mr. Keith spent the last few years ministering to others. He was an avid Alabama fan.
He is survived by two brothers, Chris Keith of Decatur and Carlton Keith of Madison; one sister, Renatta Keith of Huntsville; his grandmothers, Arthenia Morgan of Decatur and Geraldine Lowe of Colorado; grandfather, Aldean Morgan of Falkville; stepmother, Vickie Keith of Madison; one niece, Isabella Wood of Huntsville; and one sister-in-law, Rachel Keith of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be John Dryden, Ben Waple, Adam Montgomery, Brad Cox, Lane Green and Patrick Ivy.
