Mr. Chad Killian, 44, passed away in a hunting accident, Sunday September 27, 2015. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was born in Coalmont on July 16, 1971. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Dale Killian. He was a logging equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Tate Killian; mother, Geraldine Smartt Killian; sons, Tyler and Devin Killian; sister, Kimberly (Troy) King; brothers, Brian, Russell (Tammy) and Scotty Killian; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Aaron Barrett and Minister Joe Gray officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery. Visitation: 12:00 Noon – 10:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
