FLORENCE-The Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts is pleased to present the opportunity to participate in a ceramics workshop with UNA Art Professor, Coordinator of Ceramics and Sculpture, Aaron Benson. Join us 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th for a Flowerpot Hand-build activity and create your own planter! Learn more about clay by building and glazing your own ‘flowerpot’ to take home in this one-day class. Registration is limited, so sign-up soon!

WHEN: 9 am-4 pm, Saturday, June, 24th
WHERE: Kennedy-Douglass Art Center
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
9 am- Noon: Introduction, design, and hand-build
Noon-1:30 pm: Lunch Break (while clay dries)
1:30- 3:00 pm: Glaze and place in kiln.
Art pick-up: July 9th, between 1-4 pm.
WORKSHOP FEE: $95 (includes Instruction & materials costs)
