Celeta W. McDonald, 85, of Empire passed away at her residence June 8, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in the chapel of New Horizon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Phillips Freewill Cemetery.
Celeta was preceded in death by her husband Jerry McDonald, parents Sam and Mattie Winnett, son Darron McDonald and sisters Mildred Finley and Odessa Adkins.
She is survived by two sons Brent (Dana) McDonald, Ben (Lori) McDonald and grandchildren Dylan (Abby) McDonald, Ethan McDonald, Luke McDonald, Jake McDonald, Christopher McDonald and Nicholas McDonald, sister Freba Skinner and a host of nieces and nephews.
Celeta loved the Lord, her family and was a loving, caring nurse for over 20 years. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
