Funeral service for Mr. Cecil Vernon Sheridan, age 85, of Decatur, will be Saturday, May 30, 2015, 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Edmond Miller officiating and Rush Funeral Home (113 S. 11th Street, Oakdale, LA 47163, 318-335-1180) directing. Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family with local arrangements. Interment will be in Green Oak Cemetery, Kinder, LA.
Mr. Sheridan, who died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at his residence, was born December 23, 1929. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann (Miller) Sheridan on May 3, 2015.
He is survived by two sons, Don Viator (Sarah) of Moulton, and Frank Sheridan of Georgia; four daughters, Phyllis Ann Welch (Holley) of Moss Point, MS, Donna Jean Goodeaux (Tommy) of Sulphur, LA, Sylvia Moore (Doug) of Perry, FL, and Betty Sheridan of Lake Charles, LA; 16 Grandchildren; and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
