Mr. Cecil Jerry Reece, age 72 of Athens, AL passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his home. Mr. Reece was born on December 23, 1947 in Decatur, AL to Cecil E. Reece and Birdie Mae Pitts Reece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Jackson Holt.
Mr. Reece is survived by his wife Elaine Reece; daughter, Lynn Reece; son, Jai Reece; grandchildren, Presley Holt and Calen Reece; sister, Pam Aaron (David).
Mr. Reece enjoyed gardening, puzzle books, horses and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Services for Mr. Reece will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Limestone Chapel with Bud White officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Green, Donnie Kyle, Joe Sims, Ira Whitehead, Billy Cannon and Forest D. Pepper.
