Cecil Hayden Morgan, Jr., 73, Leighton, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Monday, September 13, at 12: 00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Roger Bond officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Cecil was a member of the IBEW Local 558. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayden and Glenn Morgan.
Cecil is survived by his children, Melanie Brooks (Tony), Christi Silva (Butch), and Chad Morgan; grandchildren, Will Brooks (BreAnna), Curt Brooks (Brittany), Callie Silva, and Kyndal Silva; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Carter, Zander, and Ruger Brooks, Kailynn Roberts, Tyson Mitchell, and Keidon and Kameron Schulte.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
